Camera sensor and Megapixels

This phone is has dual camera setup on rear side and the primary camera has 13MP F/2.2 aperture Omnivision OV16880 RGB sensor Focal lenth are 26mm with Phase detection autofocus.

And also it’s comes with 5MP depth sensor that helps in portrait mode which is make bokeh effect.

Image quality

in terms of Asus Zenfone Max Pro offers very details sharp photos, however sometime it’s produce some greenyness on with over sharpning and also noise are also apparant

Dynamic range however is limited by defaul and you do need to use HDR mode to get it. HDR algorithm is very agrasive job well done. Also you can see the saturated in this two photos.

Low light performance

Low light performance are too bad, but noise level are surprizingly under control. But in here HDR mode dark condition not work well. here is the images below.

Portrait Mode

In portrait mode works well but not find better depth of field yet. However if you’re shooted from a angle manner it work pretty much better. Subject and Edge detection is improved here.

Front Camera

Front camera is 8MP f/2.0 aperture along right side a flash too. Image quality of front facing camera washed out or over exposed sometimes. HDR mode works quite a bit, but in comeptetion makes dull.


In video mode phone capable to capture 4K DCI at 24fps which means you can shoot more in pixels horizontal mode than regular 4K resolution, 4K DCI mode (4096×2160 pixels) while 4K Standerd is (3840×2160 pixels). This feature you’ve seen OnePlus One device.

Video quality and sharpness are very good but there no EIS or OIS. And front facing camera capture maximum at 1080p at 30fps.
